During the pandemic, I earned my 200-hour yoga teacher certification and began working in the wellness field as a chiropractic assistant. That experience deepened my appreciation for mobility, body awareness, and a holistic approach to well-being.
As I began teaching yoga, I found myself especially drawn to one-on-one work. I loved creating practices that felt personal and approachable, meeting each person where they were rather than asking them to fit into a particular idea of what movement “should” look like.
That same desire led me to assisted stretching. I saw it as another avenue for helping people explore movement through guided, hands-on support. For some, starting a movement practice can feel intimidating, uncomfortable, or simply inaccessible when you're expected to navigate it on your own. Assisted stretching offers a way to slow down, receive support, and become more familiar with your body and how it moves, without having to figure it all out by yourself.
In 2021, I became certified in Applied Stretching Theory through online study, hands-on training, and supervised practical training in Atlanta, where I worked for 3½ years. Since then, I’ve completed additional assisted stretching training, and I’m always looking for opportunities to keep learning, growing, and expanding my knowledge as a teacher and wellness professional. I believe that continuing to learn allows me to better support the people I work with and meet their needs with greater understanding and intention.
Yoga and assisted stretching have continued to shape and inform one another, giving me a deeper understanding of how differently each body moves and how important it is to adapt our approach to the individual. Whether you're looking to begin a movement practice, improve your mobility, or simply feel more comfortable and connected in your body, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and at ease.
For nearly six years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people build a more positive relationship with movement. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and that the right practice is one that meets you where you are, through every season of self.
That belief is at the heart of Luna Ridge Wellness: a personal, supportive space where your goals, needs, and comfort come first.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to working with you.
My love for movement began when I started practicing yoga at just 13 years old with my mom. What began as a simple way to move and spend time together slowly became something much more meaningful. Over the years, yoga taught me how deeply connected our bodies and minds are, and how mindful movement can change not only how we feel in our bodies, but how we feel within ourselves.
As my yoga practice evolved, I became increasingly drawn to the ways movement can support our overall well-being. I knew I wanted to help others feel more connected to their bodies and discover movement in a way that felt supportive, accessible, and meaningful to them.
Over the years, I’ve seen how even small improvements in flexibility and mobility can create meaningful changes in confidence, energy, and overall well-being. My approach is gentle yet effective, combining client education, body awareness, and genuine care to help you feel your best.
